Exceeding expectations
“My client released a large software deployment and infrastructure change to deliver better
value to their consumers. My role was to provide technical support during the deployment. It
seemed everything was going well, until a long weekend when their servers went down and
no one could access the websites.
Even though we did not have a support agreement, I didn’t think twice about fixing the issue,
I just went ahead and did it after an email from them. The client was very impressed with the
work, and now they know that they can count on Innodev at all times.”
Leading the way
“I recently started an agile team coaching engagement at a client site. My sponsor, who I
have known for quite some time, requested our support as previous suppliers were not seen
to put their interests first. In my initial conversations with my sponsors I asked ‘what were
their objectives for agile,’ ‘what value would agile bring to their organisation’ and ‘how will
you know it is having an impact.’ I also shared how we are leading the way in Australia with
the ‘Agile Fluency Diagnostic’ and how we are using it to quantify and assess the impact our
work is having on their objectives.
I was pleased to hear that this was exactly what the client wanted, as they have felt like
passengers in their agile transformation due to the treatment by other suppliers. I have been
asked to speak at the next leadership group meeting on the approach.”
